We look forward to offering you a great selection of ales, including guest beers, draught lagers, ciders, including some fabulous fruit varieties. We stock a plethora of favourite spirits, gins galore and we will be showcasing some wonderful whiskies and rums for you to tantalise your taste buds, not to mention a selection of wines and a cheeky champagne range for that special treat.…which we all deserve!! We are passionate and excited about our food offerings. Our dishes are made in our 1620 house kitchen by our incredibly talented team, collectively offering approximately 100 years experience in the catering industry. We generally offer classic dishes one would expect from a quintessentially British pub but we are very particular about our ingredients, the quality & provenance, favouring as many locally produced products as possible. The aim is to add a ‘twist’ providing an element of excitement to the dish.

What a lovely place this was! Love the aesthetic interior and the cute little tapas they served us. The cocktails were amazing and has a personal touch. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Perfect for date night or a soothing dinner out. Food was yum and so was the company.

This is a lovely and really welcoming place, we wanted somewhere to watch the World Cup that was more relaxed and low key. It was perfect. We had the grazing boards which were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food and wine was simply superb. The team were also just so lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back. I’d highly recommend 1620 for really good food at a decent price.

Really lovely, came here for a friend's baby shower and had such a lush time, it's decorated beautifully which really adds to the experience, the lady running it is friendly and attentive great customer service, the roast was lovely too, all of us were very pleased to come here. I will be back!!

Can't comment on the food because my booking which was made 4 weeks ago, accepted and confirmed has been cancelled with less than 3 hours notice. Awful business acumen and won't be trying again
