I would give them 6 stars if I could! Having tried other companies that had charged money and not fixed the problem, Matthew from A Step Above was a breath of fresh air. The service was professional, friendly and reassuring throughout, and the best bit is, they found the leak and fixed the roof...very quickly too! I highly recommend anyone needing roofing work done to use this company and we certainly will use them for any work needed in the future. We are so grateful and relieved to have found such a reliable and decent company. Many thanks again Matthew and the team!

Very competent and skilled roofing work from the owner. Have performed tiling and lead work on my unique period house with some unusual roof design features. Unfortunately, he has had issues with replacing good team members who moved on. Several mistakes by new members and then excuses for not wanting to continue with jobs. Professional, personable leader but with disruptive team members. Uses mini drones for roof inspections when appropriate. Recommended if you can get Matthew (owner) to work on the project, but insist he stays on-site to supervise.

Matthew was professional from our first meeting all the way to completing the job. Extremely happy with the work carried out (new garage ridge tiles), Matthew clearly explained options and how the ridge tile system worked. Site left nice and clean. Would definitely recommend.

It was such a pleasure using Matthew! I was having work done on my house and a few tiles had slipped into the guttering and were in danger of sliding off onto my neighbours car! I called a few other roofers before I got to Matthew and all were unhelpful and didn't want to bother as they said the job was too small When I called Matthew he wasn't bothered about the size of job and he acted swiftly to check out the situation and put it right straight away. He acted professionally and talked me through the different options available to me to make it as inexpensive as possible. Definitely going to be using him again.

I would give 10 stars if I could.Mathew replaced the old tiring leaking roof of our out house with a beautiful safe fiberglass and installed a roof skylight window which offers extra light. He has completly transformed the nearly abandoned room . My 10 years old son now wants to move in. The whole experience has been so easy and pleseant, which you don't normally have nowadays with trandemen. We had a few quotes for this job and his price was very reasonable.Communication has been fantastic from the beggining to the end. His whole team is very reliable, polite and professional. You could not expect anymore. I am so glad we have found him and would not hesitate to recommend him.
