Jez Startup5 StarA View are a fantastic opticians. The examinations themselves are extremely thorough. There's a wide range of glasses to choose from and very knowlegeable staff to help you choose. But most importantly, the customer service is brilliant. So even after you have had your eye test, bought your glasses, and left very happy, they are still there if you need to go back and have them adjusted, or as happened in my case, your dog chews one of the arms of your new specs, they will sort you out - all part of the service. Elaine Bernstein5 StarNot only is the store incredibly beautiful, the stock absolutely amazing and the parking easy, the staff are just fantastic! I took my glasses into them as the arms had widened (I hadn't bought them from A View) and they warmed and bent them, warmed and bent them and and then tested them on me. The frame was still a little crooked so they told me to come back the next day where their "master" fixer would be. I duly returned, and the glasses were duly straightened. Its rare in this world of online shopping, massive impersonal chains and the constant need to make a profit, to be able to walk into a business and be treated as if you were their most valued customer.
