I recommended A1MR to an elderly relative: job required - repair 3 leaks in gutter joints. Jay carried out the work - namely re-sealed 3 joints with (bathroom!!) sealant - was paid £145 cash as quoted and left: he had to return twice to rectify as joints continued to leak - he replaced 1 joint each time, each time requiring further payment (1st time £65, 2nd time £60 (and one of these was minus the seal!): the third gutter joint then leaked and Jay refused to return to rectify it unless he was paid yet more money, at which point another person was contracted to repair the gutter joints: it has become apparent Jay has not used the correct sealant in his work - he used bathroom sealant. He also left debris on the ground. He became rude and arrogant in his correspondence with his customer - he even accused her of tampering with his work! He does not guarantee or accept responsibility for his work - implied the customer is in the wrong. Very shoddy workmanship and very poor customer relations. BEWARE.
