Our engineers will call in advance of their arrival, should you request this, and we are open on Saturdays for your added convenience. 4K, also known as Ultra HD or UHD, refers to a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (HD2160p). That’s four times the 1,920 x 1,080 pixels found in your full HD TV. We’re looking at about 8.3 million pixels. Cramming so many pixels into a TV means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture. It’s not about sharpness, it’s about letting you see more detail and texture. 8K Ultra HD is nothing short of the clearest picture you’re ever likely to see. It’s got four times more pixels than 4K Ultra HD images, measuring 7,680 x 4,320 pixels (HD4320p), which equates to a total of 33,177,600 pixels. In a 65-inch screen they are so small you won’t even be able to make out the pixel structure. However, many 8K TVs are much larger. I have a multi room audio visual setup which suddenly lost signal. On inspection it looked like a failed modulator. I contacted Elliot who was unable to supply one but advised where best to look. After purchasing and fitting a new modulator my system still didn't light up. So another call to Elliot, this time conceding defeat and asking if one of his team could visit to help me out. He responded quickly, arranged for an engineer to call the next day and offered for him to phone when 30 minutes away. A pleasant chap came and after checking some obvious connections he ventured into the loft and identified a problem with the Loftbox which I wouldn't have found in a month of Sundays. All now fixed and operating normally again thanks to Elliot and his helpful team.
