Having worked in the fitness industry since leaving university with a degree in sport science in 2010, I've worked closely with football clubs, rowing squads and rugby teams and developed an in depth understanding of sport conditioning. Bringing this knowledge base to Alpha has allowed me to create strength and conditioning programmes for clients ranging from 6 yrs-70 yrs. My methodology for training clients is to perfect the basic movements and increase range of movement to allow for increases in performance and all round quality of life. We like to keep things simple and our gym memberships are no different. We have 3 to choose from based on various levels of support and ability. If paying monthly doesn't work for your schedule or budget, you can pay per session too, giving you full control. Goals are important. We encourage our members to pursue their next goal to keep them motivated and training with direction, whether it's focusing on the next global Hyrox competition or entering in the annual XT Hampshire, we encourage our members to get involved as a team. Looking for a fast and sustainable body transformation? Our 6-week challenges are an incredible way to kickstart your physique in a small timeframe. Included free with any monthly membership, this challenge includes nutrition, exercise and movement targets for you to adhere to and help build your accountability. Do you suffer with a long-term injury or chronic pain? A large percentage of the UK live with muscular pain that can be alleviated through a range of different treatments and strengthening. We've partnered with Dave Hooper from Synergy Sports Massage & Remedial Therapy to provide our members with a support network than will help them exercise pain free. We're passionate about fitness for all ages and the benefits it can bring. That's why we've started Alpha Bootcamp, a family session for ages 8-16 led by an experienced instructor. This age appropriate strength & conditioning class is available on PAYG and a great way to get your chldren active and away from screens. Velo is an experience like no other. Immersive, unapologetic & loud. We guarantee you'll have never experienced indoor cycling like Velo before. A gem of a gym! Wanting to keep up my exercise routine, I was delighted to be able to be a guest at Alpha Fitness when we recently visited the area, from Australia. Chris and Dan are superb trainers as well as being friendly and welcoming. I loved that they know when to share a laugh and when to push you harder and I’ve taken away some great tips. The group classes are well programmed and adaptable to different fitness levels. The gym has a great range of conditioning and strength equipment too. Highly recommend.

Chris and Dan are the best gym owners/PTs/class instructors you could hope for. Super knowledgeable, non-judgmental and motivating to newbies and seasoned gym goers alike. The gym itself is a great space with plenty of varied equipment to use. Classes are challenging and fun, with various formats across the week. Highly recommend!

I have been a member of Alpha fitness for 7 months now and I cannot recommend it enough! Highly addictive, non judgmental, extremely motivating gym! Chris and Dan are great guys who have created something special at Alpha. From someone that would join a gym and go once or twice and never return, to someone who is now jumping out of bed early to hit 3/4/5 classes per week consistently really says something! Grateful to be part of such a fantastic team with unlimited support!

I’ve now completed 3 of the new Monday evening Velo FTP sessions, instructed by Dave and I’m absolutely loving it! Being so used to the style of another instructor, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, Dave is awesome and his professional athlete coaching experience really shines through. These sessions are challenging but also fun. I’ve started to increase my FTP, so personally I have to focus and dig deep. The rest of the participants also encourage and support each other which can give you a much needed push at times. Anyone with an interest in cycling, whatever level, should come and join us for the experience. You’ll get an amazing workout and will be buzzing after!
