Definitely not a 4-star hotel as mentioned on the booking site but rather a 2-star b&b. With ~162€/night quite heavy over priced. Rooms were medium clean and quite old fashioned and some stuff broken. Very noisy at night: a heating kettle was making a lot of noise and with the thin walls you could hear everything from the neighbours in the adjacent room. The bed was small but ok for me, yet probably a disaster for people with a bad back. Due to the noise I had a rather bad sleep. The continental breakfast was the poorest I have ever seen (see picture of the buffet) so far but the wife had cooked a meal on demand with eggs, sausage and toast and was quite friendly. All in all, chances are low that I’ll ever return to this place as you can easily find higher quality for a much lower price…

It's not a hotel but a house on a housing estate. When we arrived there was no one in to tell us the key code, so we rang the number on the door. The bedroom was stifling warm, although adequately decorated. Not sure about the door to the shower and toilet, must be a new way to have a vent 🤔 The decor is looking very dated and tired in the lounge and breakfast area. Our breakfast did the job and came with the price. The area it was in seemed pleasant enough. Bit noisy from the other guests on the landing because of the proximity. As it's a house, not a hotel. Free parking space which was very handy, while at the NEC for the day. Still had to get a taxi to go though. So next time we'll stay at the hotels nearer as spent about the same price if we'd gone they're initially.

Do not use this hotel. My sister booked to stay here for a weekend with her friend for wireless festival a few weeks ago. Turned up and the staff made them feel uncomfortable as soon as they got there. Asked them where they were going everytime they left the hotel. Asked them when they would be back. Told them they weren’t allowed to keep coming and going as they please. They decided to leave the hotel due to this and unforeseen circumstances. Gentleman on the desk said they would get a refund. Now they have said they are not able to get one. The lady was rude, blocked all of our numbers and spoke to my 18 year old sister like she was dirt. Go to this hotel if you want to be made to feel uncomfortable and watched all of the time but I would never use this hotel, no human compassion or decency. Very upsetting and now she has lost £500.

Lovely local friendly hotel. Parking for a few cars at the front at the hotel. Quiet area within a residential area. Breakfast is always made to order. There are 3 or 4 tables in the breakfast room, so not much of an atmosphere. Cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts are available on the side to eat in addition to the cooked breakfast. The rooms are clean and the bed is always comfortable. Some new renovations to the bedroom with the wardrobe, and built in beverage area with teas and coffees and biscuits. The only downside is they were rich tea biscuits. The shower room is clean, it does need renovating as there was a bit of mould around the siliconed areas around the shower. However, everything has been cleaned thoroughly and is very pleasant if you like beyond that. The owner is friendly and helpful. I have stayed here a few times and would use them again as there is easy access to the dual carriageway.
