Georgina L1 StarPlaced order online, payment was taken and website said it was 'completed successfully', only to immediately receive an email saying 'Your order has been declined. Please call us'.
1. Update your system so that it doesn't take payment for orders that you can't accept.
2. I'd recommend updating your cancellation email to be a little more polite and apologetic (and more importantly include your phone number so I don't then have to google it to ask if I'll be refunded).
After calling to ask about a refund I was told it was automatic and then when I tried to say anything further I was hung up on. Unbelievably rude. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I do understand that it might not be possible to fulfill an order but a simple 'sorry we can't do it because of xyz' would have led to a VERY different experience on my end.Friday 14th January 2022
James Fowler1 StarWe have ordered food from here on multiple occasions and it has been great service up until our last order.
We tried ordering through Just Eat, but the order was unsuccessful so we decided to do it through the website. We received confirmation it has gone through and had an order number.
An hour and a half later there was no sign of our food so we called the restaurant. They told us the order hadn’t shown up on their end but promised to get it cooked and delivered asap.
Another hour passed and still no food so we rang again and were told it was on it’s way. Bearing in mind we are only ten minutes drive away we were very hungry and fed up. We asked to speak to the manager but were told we should call back the next day to discuss the matter with them.
The order finally arrived just before 10pm which was two and a half hours after we originally ordered it.
We felt very let down by the whole experience and just wanted to get to bed.
The next day we called up and asked to speak to a manager, we left our number and were told we would get a call back. We are still waiting.
All in all, we are very disappointed with the service.Monday 4th October 2021
