The Beaufort Care Home specialises in caring for those who require full time nursing care. With large ensuite double rooms available, we also offer the opportunity for couples to be cared for together. Please enquire for availability.

Located on the A59, close to a brand new Booths supermarket and other local shops, The Beaufort is ideally placed for those searching for easy access and convenience. On the edge of the countryside, the home enjoys expansive views and a large well maintained garden.

The Beaufort is a home which is spacious and has many areas for residents to sit or socialise. The dining room is large with patio doors to the garden and the bar area is used for many celebration events and daily activities. Also accommodating a large cinema screen for‘film nights’, the lounge is the hub of the residents varied hobby and interests activity programme.

Bedrooms are all ensuite and there is a lift to ensure easy access to the first floor. We very much encourage our residents to personalise their own private bedrooms however they wish, to ensure that their rooms feel 'just like home'.

Friends and family are welcome to visit at any time. We have a specially constructed 'visitor pod' in order to facilitate safe family visiting, whatever current guidelines may be.

The Beaufort Nursing Home provides 24 hour bespoke nursing care, delivering professional and compassionate care to residents with significant and complex health conditions.

We understand that every resident is unique with individual care requirements. Our approach to nursing care is based on the use of personalised care plans. Care plans are written with medical and assessment information but, also with the help of our residents and their families. These bespoke care plans ensure we maximise choice, independence and the comfort of our residents

Our nurses work very closely with other external healthcare professionals, to ensure that the broadest range of expertise is available to support all nursing care needs.

The respite care we provide is ideal for those requiring nursing care following discharge from hospital or who might alternatively receive nursing care in their own home. We are very happy to discuss your requirements for a respite stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our Activity Co-ordinator is dedicated to ensuring that residents activities are designed to engage people's attention and interest. Residents choose how they wish to spend their days, however, we ensure there are opportunities to socialise and be with others. There range of varied and enjoyable activities makes every day different and supports our residents wellbeing.

In addition, all Dovehaven care homes use 'Oomph! On Demand' an online, digital resources which enables access to additional and 'live' resident exercise, hobby and personal interest sessions.

Themed days and lunches are very popular with residents and the home always recognises national celebrations and events.

Our Home Manager, Carmel Booth, leads the team at The Beaufort and she is dedicated to ensuring the home delivers excellent nursing care and that all of our residents wishes and needs are met.

Our team of experienced and qualified nurses are committed to ensuring residents receive the highest standard of bespoke nursing care, 24 hours a day. Working together with the care team, who are well trained and highly skilled, residents can be assured of excellent care standards.

The Beaufort has a dedicated Activity Co-ordinator who offers one to one time for those residents who prefer to spend time in their rooms or are unable to join with others in the lounge.

Dovehaven have robust induction and ongoing training for all team members, to ensure that they have all skills and knowledge they need to provide expert nursing care, with confidence.

With views through the patio doors on to the lawns in the garden, our dining room is certainly spacious!

With our dining tables always beautifully set for mealtimes, our residents enjoy the best of dining experiences, making them feel very much ‘at home’ in the friendliest of atmospheres, all mealtimes are happy, sociable occasions.

The daily menu includes old favourites like pies, roasts and sticky toffee pudding and is packed with quality, seasonal and nutritious ingredients. Created by chefs, with the reassurance that dietitians oversee the menu preparation, we guarantee our meals are as nourishing as they are appealing and delicious. Our menu is varied, tempting and reflects residents preferences.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that our menu choices are available, in the most appropriately palatable way, for all resident needs. Our meal choices are sure to tempt even the smallest appetite, so that we can be sure nutritional needs can be met for every resident.

We also enjoy hosting various food related events throughout the year. There is no doubt that the fun of a themed event, which is reflected in the menu of the day, gives our residents the opportunity to eat some very enjoyable traditional meals but also try something a little different.

Of course, there is a choice of refreshments available to residents, at all times. It is as important for our residents to drink enough fluid as well as to eat well. Homemade scones and cakes are available daily from the kitchen and residents very much enjoy having afternoon tea!

In addition to mealtimes, drinks, fruit, snacks and suppers are freely available for all to enjoy.

Cream of the Crop : Judith Marshall and her wonderful care team at the Beaufort Nursing Home, Nr Ormskirk are First Class providing Premier Loving Care . Nothing is too much trouble the staff are very friendly helpful and supportive to the family. They provide a happy and caring atmosphere . Day and night staff are attentive to all the needs of the residents and help to make the Beaufort feel like home from home . From my experience in the profession and knowledge of other care/nursing homes. The Beaufort is 2nd to none . Highly Recommended for nursing and care of loved ones in a happy home environment.
