Beeston Rylands Community Centre

BRCA ran several stalls. The children’s tombola ran by Barbara (Trustee) and Elizabeth was a hit and the tombola was full of fantastic prizes donated to BRCA and run by Gill (BRCA Volunteer). Rose sold raffle tickets for a host of fantastic prizes, most people wanted the cinema tickets for the newly opened Arc cinema in Beeston, and with 5 pairs on offer that made the raffle really popular. Hand painted bags made by the BRCA group ‘Craft and Company’ were also on sale.

‘Waggy’ fun took place at the dog show. Our Judges Janet (Trustee) and Dylan had a tough time to decide winners, but those dogs who won a rosette strutted out of the arena with added swagger and perky tails.

Local small businesses and enterprises were happy to be back out in the community able to sell direct and showcase their products.

Louise from Debutots Nottingham ran interactive sessions for young children and adults under the trees. Beeston Historical Society shared some fantastic local images of the past. Beeston Community Church, Incredible edible and Broxtowe Community Projects were all represented.
