We are a small family run business based in the Forest of Dean for the past 20+ years, providing the finest quality authentic Indian & Bangladeshi food with a customer service to match. Being a family ran business we put our heart, soul and passion into everything that leaves the kitchen of Bengal balti. We have a restaurant for dining in which you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, we do serve soft drinks on the premises (currently closed till Lockdown is over) we also provide takeaway's by telephone 01594 842283.

luke malone5 StarIf you hate fluorescent curry and rubbish poppadom dips then this is the Indian for you.
The spicy curries are actually spicy but full of flavour. The Korma was rich and coconutty. The rice is always cooked well. Never had a really oily curry or lack of meat which seems common elsewhere!!
Will continue to eat here both eat in and take away and highly recommend it, if you have tried the other Indians locally and been disappointed.Thursday 21st April 2022
Tom Durcan2 StarNew to the area and from Birmingham I’ve had a few curries in my time. This take away started well. Starters were very enjoyable until I found a long hair in my chicken tikka! My main was a vindaloo which tasted very powdery and was disappointing. Hopefully better next timeTuesday 10th May 2022
Dave Bethwaite5 StarA superb mix of hot, spicy and deliciousness all rolled into one. I recommend the Madras for anyone who likes super tasty curry with a kick. I've also tried both the masala and the tandoori chicken which are both exceptional.
