I have bought numerous fish from Bert & Ernies & never had any problems, fish are always well & healthy & always a really good variety. Mark & his team are all knowledgeable & always happy to help & advise. I would highly recommend to anyone who has or is starting out with fish to call in & have a look around you won't regret it. Yes it's not in a posh building but it's an honest, brilliant, knowledgeable, friendly, independent family run business who go out of their way to help & advise you. Unlike another larger flashy place who were very unhelpful & staff were rude & I will never go there again but will definitely be going back to Bert & Ernies. Pictures of my blue crayfish she's getting big & the last picture is of her last shed 💙

Absolutely brilliant shop, best in the locality! The staff are really knowledgeable and eager to help. The prices are reasonable, cheaper than A***s. It may not look super fancy as they are still setting up, but don't let this put you off. What it lacks in fancy decor it more than makes up for in knowledge, stock and friendliness. Kind of like the old school local shops! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
