Well, what can I say about Janet - she’s a magician, simple as that. The dress my daughter wanted was only available in her budgetary constraints online from a factory probably the other side of the world. We knew that there would need to be alterations. In fact it wasn’t too bad but it differed from the photos in as much as it seemed to have an apron of black netting which didn’t look right at all. I contacted Janet, arranged an appointment and she got to work on the dress immediately – the ‘apron’ came off there and then which improved the look of the dress immediately. It is lovely to watch Janet work; she has her ideas as to how to get the dress as you want, and then exceed your dreams. Go with her – she knows exactly what she’s doing. My daughter lives in Coventry so making appointments to coincide with visits to Waddingham could have been problematic, but Janet was so accommodating. She goes the extra mile, for instance my daughter and her husband did a two minute sword ‘dance’ which required a way of making sure the dress didn’t get in the way. Cue Janet and her idea of a detachable train, plus a way to arrange the back of the dress so as to not get in the way of the choreography. Janet was fabulous throughout the whole process, I can’t thank her enough.

Janet was wonderful! It was a really quick turn around as I needed my wedding dress picked up and altered in one weekend. Janet was incredibly accommodating, professional and really put me at ease. Amazing experience with Janet, I needed last minute alterations on my 3 piece suit for my graduation. Janet transformed my suit, I’ve never felt so good! And just in time, managed to get it done incredibly quickly so I could catch my train home and it fit like a glove. Thanks so much, couldn’t be happier :)

Janet is absolutely talented and is very professional. She did an amazing job altering my wedding dress. Would highly recommend. She made me feel at home and nothing was to much trouble. She made sure my dress fitted me perfect. I felt amazing on my wedding day and my dress looked amazing.
