XC90 FURTHER ISSUES. WARNING CAR NOT SUITABLE FOR SHORT SCHOOL RUN TYPE USE!!!!!! POST 2 Have oil level warning light come on and message indicates oil level high. I contact Brindley to be told that this is caused when the vehicle is used for only short runs as excess fuel left in the cylinder seeps through to the oil causing the high oil level. This is a problem is known by Brindley and one that Volvo used to pay to rectify BUT NOT ANY MORE. So I was informed by the sales manager they would charge for 1 hour labour (£144) to have the problem resolved but on speaking to the service department when arranging to take the car in they tell me it could cost me about £250 if the oil and filter need replacing!!. After this I will still have a car that I have now been informed, not at the time of buying the car, is not suitable for the type of driving I do. Feel totally let down and will probably have to sell the car with a possible loss of £4000. POST 1Very disappointing after care. Sent mail to the sales rep I dealt with when purchasing my XC90 regarding a missing air vent lever, as per attached photo, on 30/09/21. Having not had a reply and subsequently finding a greasy hair impregnated stain on the drivers headrest, see photos of stain and post me cleaning it, I mailed Brindley again on 11/10/21 asking for an update on my original query and pointing out the stain suggesting who ever did the valet should be sacked. No reply to my second mail by 25/10/21 so I contacted them via Live Chat asking for updates. As of today 29/10/21 nearly a MONTH on still no reply!!!!

Howard and Joe were very good during and before purchase. Howard also sorted out a couple of issues obtaining proof of warranty after the purchase. I have to say though for the purpose of management the valeting standard is very poor. Wheels were not cleaned/prepared properly and the car had dog dribble on the rear windows still. This was alongside various sweet wrappers and an old lipstick found in the car. I expect really to pickup an immaculately valeted car from them when buying.

Paul Townsend was brilliant to deal with. The car had been valeted. Only downside is that they gave me £200 for a Ford Mondeo diesel on a 58 plate. It had no MOT. I found the dealership honest and helpful. Was also offered refreshments. Deal with Paul Townsend, he's the best one , he knows a lot about his cars. Thanks for a pleasant experience. 😊

I had my car mot at this place and it was easy to book in. On the day when I dropped the car off Stuart was friendly and professional, it was done on time so happy with service I received, I had good quality customer care. I will go back again next year. The staff are great.

V60 Service Had my Volvo V60 serviced here recently. Great service, good communication and a very fair price for a new set of wiper blades which was required. Would happily use this dealership again.
