P.1 Transition session 2022/23 (added 11.05.22)

It has been lovely to hear from so many parents/carers of pupils due to start P.1 in August. We have now begun to compile classes as well as  undertake nursery visits, and can confirm that transition sessions will take place as follows at Burnside Primary:-

Visit 1  - Wednesday 8th June 1.40-2.10 or 2.15-2.45 pm (specific time for your child's class to be confirmed via letter) Visit 2  - Thursday 9th June 11.45-12.15 or 1.40-2.10 or 2.15-2.45 pm (specific time for your child's class to be confirmed via letter) Visit 3  - Friday 17th June  1.45-2.45 pm for all children

We would like to offer these visits to your child, accompanied by one parent/carer. Please see further details within letters to be issued. These visits will allow your child to meet their classmates, spend some time within their classroom both with and without you and meet key staff. These visits also help our staff to get to know your child and they also provide you with the opportunity to meet staff and other parents, as well as receive important information for starting school.

We look forward to meeting with you soon!
