Having used yourselves as my accountants for a number of years, and then deciding for various reasons to move away to another firm, I find it difficult to understand why you have ignored my emails requesting information which I require for a tax investigation. I have emailed payroll and Shaun Martin directly weeks ago without hearing anything back. Although me moving my companies away from you wasn’t a decision you took kindly too, you created a situation which was untenable by any account and the relationship was fraught with issues since joining. Having said this the matter was resolved and all fee’s outstanding were mutually agreed upon and paid in full. Withholding the information I have requested is not only wrong but shows the working practice that your firm employs. This is evident not only from your actions in relation to myself, but through speaking with your staff members in the past. I have no choice but to place a public request to request this information in the hope that you will send through the information requested. There is no doubt that you will be able to work out who I am. Having said this I have explained the issues to HMRC who are extremely understanding, and will endeavor to resolve the issue with them regardless of your willingness to provide the information. Sadly, it simply shows the quality of firm that you are. I would kindly suggest you make contact urgently, otherwise I will continue to try and warn others of your practices, which no fellow business person wants to do.
