Sadly, I have had a poor experience. After I placed my order my shipping information was invalid and no one would respond to my messages for accurate tracking information. I was completely ignored and ended up going to my bank to request a refund as I never received the item I ordered.

I initially received my necklace without having been fixed like it was discussed with Monty, and with spotty communication. However, Monty was quick to contact me back after seeing my first review. He explained that he had taken leave from work for a bit for personal matters (completely understandable), and that the order had shipped before he could see it. Monty was willing to have the necklace shipped back to the shop for the repairs without any extra charge. He explained that the repairman decided to alter the piece rather than make repairs as it may make the necklace look disagreeable in appearance. I agreed and was happy that he had communicated this to me. The necklace was shipped back as soon as the alteration was done. I'm super happy with the purchase in the end, and the customer service I received to correct the issues from the initial shipment. I would recommend Butter Lane Antiques and Monty!
