David Hannah1 StarRing in to be resized and they decided to re design the whole ring without discussing this with me. This was my fathers ring gifted to myself.
Asked them to rectify their mistake and provided another ring to use the gold from. This was my late grandmothers ring and had great sentimental value, however they returned my ring weighing less than what it was originally. Leaving me to question how this could happen. Each time the original weight was noted by them on the jewellers bag they keep it in. They were unable to provide a reasonable response to this and stated they didn’t know who would write this on their own bag. I waited over a month to have my ring returned as they said they were inundated with work, so much so they advised they had stopped taking on repairs at this time. After i complained about the length of time taken, the ring was surprisingly ready 2 days later leading me to believe they rushed the job. They made a horrible mess of my own ring again. Two other independent jewellers could not believe how bad a job was carried out
Paid at my own expense to have this disaster sorted elsewhere.Monday 7th June 2021
