The blower on my car failed hence I came to this garage to get it assessed. They ran a diagnostic (at a cost of £96) which took them less than five minutes. No report was issued and I was informed that the blower motor and heat matrix needed replacing at a significant cost. Given the suspiciously short time it took to do the diagnostic I did my own research and then decided to engage a mechanic I had been recommended. He spent 1.5hrs running a proper diagnostic and discovered that the issue was unrelated to the heat matrix and actually related to a blocked cabin filter which had caused the blower motor/resistor and fuse seating in the BSI module to fail due to overheat. He said this is a common issue with this model of car. I’m very disappointed that Car Tech Autos did not run a proper diagnostic and were prepared to take me down a road that would have lead to an unnecessary large bill. If they had actually run a proper diagnostic to start with then they would have discovered the actual cause. I definitely would not recommend using this company!!

Took my car in with faulty windscreen wipers. During the investigation, the car ended up with a broken engine. No previous issues had arisen with the engine. After charging me for a replacement engine, there was a nail in a tire as I drove out of the workshop. They denied this was their fault. The most laughably terrible experience I’ve had in any sector.
