Just had our downstairs fitted throughout with Amtico Spacia by Ben. We called on Carpetsdirect without any recommendation and can't fault the service. From Eric's friendliness, courtesy, knowledge and understanding at the shop straightaway, through to Paul's assessment, advice and suggestions when he visited our home to measure and check the floors. Ben fitted the screed and floor with skill, cleanliness and attention to detail throughout. A first class job from start to finish lads!

We can’t rate and thank Paul and Eric highly enough. Trying to decide on new flooring for our entire downstairs areas and new carpet throughout the rest of the house was made a lot easier due to their patience, knowledge and expertise. From the initial recommendation to them all the way through to post installation aftercare – the service and advice we’ve received has been exemplary. We had several visits to the store, borrowing samples and lengthy in store discussions. At all times they were polite, professional and prompt to reply to emails and texts. We really appreciated the examples and suggestions for layout for the Amtico flooring and the different types of carpet better suited to certain rooms. There was such a wide range of choice, but Paul happily guided us through the implications and considerations of style, technical specifications and the different guarantees and work involved for each of the options, his passion for flooring comes across well. The actual installation progressed smoothly, times and dates were clearly communicated to us. There were one or two tiny issues that were quickly flagged and resolved without delay, with Paul reassuring us throughout that we could call on him at anytime and they would address our concerns immediately. With the flooring for the entire 3 floors of the house being replaced, they really were minimal things in the whole scheme of it, but such was the focus on a quality finish it reflects well on Paul and his teams that they weren’t happy with anything less than perfect satisfaction for us. We really couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provided. Often going above and beyond what we’d expect from buying flooring. Hopefully we won’t be buying flooring and carpets for many years to come, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to family and friends and will be the only place we’d be going back to in the very distant future 😊
