Cathedral Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic provided an excellent service. Upon my first visit, Richard (the chiro) assessed my situation and diagnosed mechanical back pain, with tension within the SI and facet joints of the lower back. From there, Richard provided effective and alleviating treatment, easing my pain within the first two weeks of seeing him. Richard was straight to the point in his treatment, and I only required three sessions, thus great value for money. Richard is clearly highly knowledgeable within his field of work and has a great deal of experience under his belt. I thank Richard for the warm, friendly and professional service I received and would strongly recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain.

I could write an essay but I'll spare you the boredom, yet without compromising on what a truly fantastic Chiropractor Richard is. I'd seen a Chiropractor a couple of years ago for hip issues, and I'd heard of certain Chiropractors from friends and family (all not good stories). I had a break before I was recommended Richard. At Cathedral Chiropractors you will get a 100% honest and thorough assessment, and treatment. As soon as you meet Richard, you know he's not ripping you off or spinning you a yarn. He gives you time and he really cares about your issues. It's not the quick in and out in 5 minutes, as you'd get elsewhere (where it's all about the 💶💰). Richard is highly knowledgeable and knows his stuff! He's a real friendly chap and very likeable, as is his lovely wife Annette. I wished I'd found this Chiropractors years ago, because I'd not had as much relief from my pain and stiffness as I get from treatments with Richard. He worked on my SI joint today, which is the area that causes me a lot of trouble. Richard restores movement and function and at an extremely fair and honest price. I'm always intrigued at his expertise, and I also enjoy his interesting stories! 😁 I wholeheartedly recommend Richard if you're suffering with any joint or muscle pain. My wife and I have both had chiropractic treatment at this Clinic. We were experiencing very different issues and have both received excellent professional effective treatment. The Chiropractor takes time to fully understand your individual issues and explains the treatment being offered together with the benefits of engaging in recommended exercises to maximise the effects of treatment where necessary. This is a professional, genuine and friendly practice and we would not hesitate to recommend this Clinic.

I met Richard in April 2019 after suffering with severe back ache for a few months. The doctor couldn’t seem to help and I was at a loose end after suffering from back pain and tingling all the way down to my toes. I found Cathedral Chiropractors through a Google search and thought I’d get myself booked in at a last resort to try and ease the pain. The booking process was wonderful and Richard’s wife is lovely and friendly and got me an appointment for the following day. I arrived and was given a form to fill out and a diagram of the back to mark where I had pain. I was shown into the treatment room where Richard explained everything thoroughly and showed me on a spinal model what was wrong with my back. He informed me I had a herniated disc that would not be treatable without surgery. He offered to refer me to a orthopaedic surgeon he knew of but I decided to seek help myself. He was indeed correct and I had two discs partially removed. If I had not seen Richard, I would’ve lived with the pain and not thought anymore of it. He is kind, informative and tailors each appointment to you as an individual. He is very good at putting you at ease and as someone who gets nervous in medical environments, I forget all about where I am! I have been back once since for minor back pain and he managed to solve the issue for me in one session! Don’t hesitate and get yourself booked in!

I had been suffering with very back and hip pain for over a year, after seeing various physios and doctors someone recommended I go and see Richard and it was the best thing I could have done. Within the first few sessions my pain had been reduced significantly and I am now a few months down the line completely pain free! Richard and Anette make you feel really welcome and charge a great price for an amazing service, I would highly recommended!
