This school single children out in front of other children. Makes the children feel they have a problem at home. If you as a parent you switch off your Internet so your child will go to sleep.. They will then contact social service saying you can't afford electricity for your home.. They will not ask you, the parents first.. Then after they will lie. They will make the child feel very small by getting a different member of staff to ask the child in front of others... If there is a problem?? Do you have electricity?? Are you OK.. Its INTERNET.. as a parent that is a luxury not an necessity.. Tread Very carefully with this school.. As your smiling child will end up not so happy......

I live close by this school and before I had children I always thought it looked like a lovely little school and that one day when I have children of my own they would attend here. Erm, no! Don’t be fooled by appearances! Once I had my first child and I started looking into schools, this one came out as the absolute worst for many reasons. They received two consecutive “requires improvement” ofsted reports until recently when they’ve finally managed to achieve a Good rating but if you take the time to read the two requiring improvement, the first is failing KS1 kids and the second is failing KS2 kids. What I wonder is how the kids that transitioned from KS1 to KS2, whilst the school was trying to get it’s act together, will fair in their education in later life when this school has failed them for so long? Add to that the KS1 and KS2 stats for reading, writing and mathematics show the children at this school achieve results well below the national average. The last I checked the school is ranked the worst in the area. Parent feedback is poor and most startlingly parents claim the school ineffective at dealt with bullying. It provides a nursery but no wrap around meaning you would be collecting your child a mere three hours after drop off. How many people have working hours that fit around that?! So it seems they are pitching themselves to the unemployed. If you happen to pass by as the parents congregate at 9am, noon, 3pm or 4pm each day you will no doubt hear some colourful language with some parents using expletives for every second word. I would not want to expose my child to that. It doesn’t go unnoticed that the school staff and headmistress show a complete and utter disregard for their pupils safety by doing nothing to discourage parents from driving and parking dangerously in the streets surrounding the school. Although I’m sure all schools have this problem. The head and staff also ignore the impact dangerous driving, dangerous parking and all school events have on local residents. Try to challenge any parents and you’re met with a mouthful of abuse. Try to discuss problems with the school and they do nothing. The head can’t even return a phone call. If you want your child to have the best possible start in life, DO NOT SEND THEM TO CHRIST CHURCH!
