I like the staff here but they told me they’d taxed my new car but hadn’t. Car broke down after 2 weeks but to be fair they collected it, repaired it and got it back to me in a week. Didn’t send off for the log book on the car I part exchanged with so I got a letter threatening a £100 fine. So, they’re admin is not very good but the cars I have bought have been reasonable.

NEW TYRES 1 WEEK AFTER PURCHASE! Purchases a Used Suzuki (2014), the dealer informed me he would Re- MOT as there wasn't long left. I thought this meant he would take care of both Majors and Advisories before I drove away. However, it came up with an advisory for the N/S front tyre worn close to legal limit (dealer refused to change as was within MOT limits) .As I was driving the car it didn't feel right on a bends so went to have my tyres checked, only to find the rear tyre was (78% worn) a type 1 tyre older the car, was cracking and had a lower tread then the N/S tyre that had come up on the advisory. Front tyres also came up as needing to be replaced in the near future. The dealer will probably say this is ok, as its within MOT limits, but i'm sure most people will agree you shouldn't need to put new tyres on a car 1 week after purchase used or not!
