Core Legal, and specifically Matthew Dickenson have been absolutely outstanding. From managing the sale of our house and purchase of existing, he has been fantastic. He replies to emails super quickly, even out of hours and from his holiday resort! There are others that work with Matthew, who have also been very helpful in answering some of my questions and supporting me to understand some of the legal jargon that can be very confusing. Unfortunately, we had to pull out of our sale and purchase due to financial circumstances and once again, I have been truly humbled by Matthews response and support in this matter. Would I recommend them? Absolutely.

Used these solicitors to sell my house and buy a new one. Sally was excellent, especially as the purchase was not a straight forward one. Made sure every detail was addressed which made the whole process run smoothly, even during the difficulties caused by Covid. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone that wants to buy or sell a house.

I used Core Legal for the first time recently after a friend recommended them to me. As a firm believer of word of mouth I must pass on the fantastic experience I had. Anthony , Sally and the team reassured me at every stage of the process and made everything as smooth as possible in these challenging times. Many thanks and keep up the great work.

First time buyers. Managed to complete within 6 weeks! Core Legal received our paperwork 17th February and we are now ready to complete. Absolutely amazed with the service we received from Suresh, Kath and Ashleigh at the Wakefield office. They really helped and was super informative. Being first time buyers, we did need out hand holding a bit and they did exactly that. Definitely will be using their services again. Thank you Suresh, Ashleigh and Katherine.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!! Do not under any circumstances use this solicitor, it could be the worst decision you ever make. They will never answer the phone, they will never respond to your emails until you pester them constantly, and they will cause delays and ultimately make potentially big errors causing undue stress and anxiety. They will also NEVER give you an update on anything, I never ONCE received an update unless I personally chased them which i did virtually every single day, and I am convinced it probably would have been delayed even more if I hadn't kept chasing them. The 'Director' of the company was dealing with my conveyancing, but was an absolutely shambolic representation of his company, and I was flabbergasted how a company can be so incompetent and play with people's emotions with zero remorse. This incompetent individual took 5 MONTHS to complete a straightforward transaction on a property with no chain on other end, causing undue stress and anxiety for us as first time buyers. Once we finally moved into the property I thought that would be the end of them, but NO, still more issues due to their negligence! The management company of the property hadn't even been told we were new owners so we couldn't even pay our ground rent/service charges as Core Legal had not initiated the Notice of Transfer document. So another thing I had to stress about and chase them for. Just as I thought that would be that, ANOTHER issue came up as I kept on receiving penalty letters from HMRC asking for the stamp duty land tax fine be paid as our conveyancer had not filed this exemption correctly. I was assured by Core Legal this would be sorted and they would resolve it, however I kept on receiving more letters and once again I had to do the chasing myself and ringing up HMRC to check it had been resolved, but it took a further 2 months before Core Legal paid the fine and resolved the issue. Once again displaying their gross incompetence. It was a dreadful decision by me to use this firm, and I can honestly say I would never go near them ever again and I am advising people to honestly for the sake of their mental health never to go near this company. I wish I had read the other reviews on here before I decided to use them, so am urging you to do the same.
