I went down to have an in person look at a car I’d seen online, I thought it’s close enough that I’ll just go and have a look in person. I didn’t have an appointment but Tony was great to deal with, we went for a test drive and that was it, I bought the car. I couldn’t be happier with the motor or the service, I can’t recommend D A M Cars enough, absolutely spot on.

First contact made on the monday to makw sure car is still available and if i could come from cardiff to view the car on the Sat was told that was no problem and he would put it in for a mot tomorrow and make sure it is ready for me. I phoned again on the Tuesday to offer a deposit for the car as i was serious about buying the car and wanted to make sure it didn't sell before hand! Contact was made most days informing me all was going well and car would be ready for me Saturday. Final contact was mdeon the Friday for me to confirm we would be there on the sat around mideto collect said car little did i know car hd only jut been put in for a mot 5 days after he said he would do it this can be confirmed by entering car reg on the dvla website. Why i wasnt just told on the Friday that it wasn't ready could we come on the Sunday or a different day i dont know! I firat found out there was more problems on the sat when i text to let him know they werw running late and where about 2 hours away to which i received a reply saying "Ok the mechanic is still sorting the brakes out so just as well." then i started to panic after being in contact all week and him having had 5 days to sort the car out i find out it is still in the garage having work done on it! So when my partner arrives he goes to see said car in the garage and after waiting a while for what should be a half hour job after serval hours we decided to just leave the car as there was still no sign at all of the car being done. All it would of taken was a text message on the friday to say ot wasn't actually ready! But typical sales man just wanting the money!

The usual salesman type but he was lovely and put a brand new MOT on the car plus 3 months warranty. I'm very pleased with my new car. Not had any issues

Very disappointed. Drove from Cardiff to find out the car I was looking at had no mot at all and a list of faults. Also gave the guy a weeks notice to me collecting... Left it there. Wouldn't recommend. Dealer gave us the run around saying the car would be ready in an hour. Sat in Mcdonalds waiting to find out hasn't been fixed. Wasted trip and money... Edit.. Why you have brought up my business name and address I do not know but its kind of irrelevant. Yes I offer mots as we are a garage so why you've made out that's naughty is just abit strange. I would not have asked you to just pass it as my kids will be travelling in the car more than myself so saftey is number 1 priority.. Don't try to justify what happened because at the end of the day you didn't have the decency to get the car ready for us with a full weeks notice to collection. I checked on the mot database an you tried to mot the Friday an it failed and then you tried again on the Saturday and it failed again. Rather than let us know there was issues that hadn't been resolved you sat with your fingers crossed hoping it would be sorted in time thus allowing us to travel all the way from Cardiff.. I'd have been happy to have waited another week to know the car was sorted. Also you failed to mention that somebody has cut through the cam belt cover to inspect the timing belt. The battery was flat when you wanted to show me the car running at your local mot station.. I had the decency to give you the benifit of the doubt and sit around for nearly 3 hours before losing my patience. Yet not even so much as an apology from yourself. AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!!
