Our Story
Derwent Roofing Services Ltd has been trading since 1999, fitting only Sarnafil systems. The Directors, Simon Byrne and Scott Henshaw, have 40 years combined experience in the installation of single-ply systems and Simon worked for Sarnafil, for 8 years, as a Field Technician responsible for final inspections and training. All our operatives hold NVQ Level 2, Applied Waterprroof Membranes certification and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) certification and the company is CHAS and Construction Line accredited.
Since March 2007 Derwent Roofing Services Ltd has been on the Sarnafil Roof Management Register. Approximately only 10% of all Sarnafil registered contractors are accepted onto the Roof Management Register, approved to act in a “Main Contractor” capacity on refurbishment projects. Each of the companies has signed the Roof Management Charter, providing the client with a single point responsibility guarantee, covering design, materials and workmanship.

Peter Hansen-Chambers5 StarI can thoroughly recommend Derwent Roofing having engaged them to replace a flat roof that required a proper drainage solution. I worked closely with Simon Byrne and he was brilliant throughout - friendly, organised and solution-orientated. We had some other work going on at the house which did slightly complicate the timing on this job (as we had to get the order of things right). Simon was very understanding, patient and super helpful is liaising with another party to coordinate when work would happen, etc. I felt in good hands throughout and they did a great job - all in all, very happy!Thursday 19th October 2023

Sarnafil was the solution I needed and Derwent Roofing did not disappoint .
The team arrived on time. I was greeted by Martin and Carl. I have not met such professional courteous and diligent trade specialist in a long time. I generally don’t trust trades because of past history but Martin and Carl did an outstanding job on my flat roof . The job was perfect and I was immensely pleased.
I can’t recommend Derwent Roofing enough. Martin and Carl are real professionals
