Dolphin House is a grade 2 listed Georgian property, set in the beautiful St Catherine's Valley, just two miles from Bath. Parts of the house date from 1700 and the accommodation has been sympathetically restored to a high standard. Rooms overlook the pretty terraced walled garden which features a Roman gazebo and has nooks and crannies to explore.
There are great walks along St. Catherine's Valley or Bath's 'Skyline walk', taking in Solsbury Hill as in Peter Gabriel's song. Dolphin House is situated at the foot of Solsbury Hill. Alternatively, walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal into Bath.
There are several pubs serving food and restaurants within walking distance of Dolphin House for evening meals. The bus stop is only a few minutes away, giving you quick and easy access to Bath city centre's facilities.

Lottie Rose5 StarA beautiful stay here. Our Room was far bigger than we expected, and the breakfast served in the conservatory was wonderful, rain or shine!!
The house and gardens are beautiful, with climbing wisteria and lush green gardens.
The ONLY negitive was the mattress was a little on the tough side, but that is a matter of personal preferance. Otherwise faultlessWednesday 18th May 2022
C C3 StarVery big room but furniture has seen better times. Room had private bathroom but it was only accessible via the hall way and had nowhere to put your clothes apart from on top of the toilet. Overpriced for one person in my opinion. Breakfast was so-so. Lovely fresh fruit salad and a fresh croissant but only 1 slice of ham and a little cheese although both of hood quality. The earliest breakfast was served was 8 am. Parking was tight for 2 bigger cars. Owners were friendly though.Sunday 6th June 2021
Mark5 StarFantastic place to stay. Old traditional house with lovely owners and a beautiful garden. Continental breakfast served in your room or in the garden. About an hours walk to Bath along a scenic canal route. Felt very welcome and would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Bath and the surrounding area.Thursday 15th September 2016
