Our club has an open minded philosophy towards Karate, looking at the art as a whole! There are many different styles and theories, all of which are valid and can benefit the individual. We aim to provide our students with the best training methods both past and present, helping them to benefit from training in Karate.
Doryoku Ryu is a traditional Karate Club that maintains the etiquette and tradition of the original style whilst teaching practical self-defence relevant to the situations of today. Karate training promotes Self-Defence, Fitness, Weight loss, Flexibility, Discipline, Co-ordination and Confidence whilst learning an enjoyable interesting art. All of our instructors believe that within karate there is something for everyone, regardless of current fitness level, previous experience, gender or background. Students are welcome to train between the ages of 4 - 70
