Georgina Thomas5 StarAs a Student Nurse who recently completed a placement here, I just wanted to leave a quick comment to say how wonderfully warm and welcoming the entire team are at Duffryn Ffrwd Manor. This isn't a typical clinical setting for a student nurse - this was much more akin to being welcomed into a big family home and it was truly heartening to be able to witness firsthand how well the residents were cared for by everyone - from the nurses & carers to the kitchen team and domestic staff. It restored my faith in human nature and reminded me a great deal of the values I hope to represent - and the qualities I aim to embody - when I eventually qualify as a Registered Nurse. I absolutely loved my time there and have no doubt in my mind that it'll go down as one of my favourite ever placements as a student. KATHY WALLIS5 StarBoth my parents have been residents at Duffryn Ffrwd Manor Nursing Home for 3 years, my mother is still there. They have both been so happy and well looked after. As I don't live nearby, the staff are always considerate to our needs, helping me to have regular contact and keeping me in touch with how they are and any issues if they arise.
