The renewable energy industry is currently experiencing unprecedented demand. As a relatively small company, we have taken the decision to focus on quality rather than quantity - which unfortunately means we have no capacity for further work at present and we are not operating a waiting list. If you are looking for solar PV and/or battery storage, we suggest looking at the MCS website - (click on READ MORE below to be directed to MCS website). This lists accredited installers by area. We understand there is much anxiety about both the climate crisis and energy prices, and we are doing out best to catch up so we can continue to help those who need it most. Please bear with us - we will remove this message once normal service resumes! Further to the Spring Statement on March 23rd, it is our understanding that VAT on solar panels for domestic properties is to be reduced from 5% to 0% from 1st April 2022 . Retrofit batteries will still attract the 20% VAT rate, and batteries installed with solar PV systems will be 0% VAT. If you already have a recent quote from us (or are waiting for one), we will be in touch with an updated quotation shortly. We are still unable to take any new enquiries, but again, will publish an update when we can. We would like to continue to reassure all our customers that we are taking every action possible to keep us – and you – as safe as possible. We are now carrying out installations and repair work where we deem it safe to do so, and follow all covid-safe guidelines, Ecocetera has just received recognition of their attention to detail and high standards of workmanship, being awarded Tesla’s first ‘installation excellence’ trophy! Our recent battery systems were branded “the best we have ever seen” by Tesla’s quality assurance engineers. If you are looking for a battery storage system and you want the best, you know where to come… The Feed In Tariff may have ended (on 31st March), But Bristol's appetite for solar PV appears to have increased! Both Bristol City Council and Bristol University have now declared a Climate Emergency. Extinction Rebellion have bought London to a standstill, bringing the issue to sharp focus - and whether you agree with their methods or not, their message is crystal clear - gone are the days of 'every little helps'; now is the time for everybody to do everything they possibly can to try and alert impending disaster.

After extensive research, we chose Ecocetera to carry out our solar PV installation and we are very glad that we did. Every aspect from the information and administration to the installation itself was carried out with total professionalism and efficiency by the very friendly, helpful and polite team of Jeannie, Conrad, Jack, Dave and James. Dave, the electrician even insisted on washing our hall floor! They happily put up with and indeed took on board my nerdy optimum astronomical average sun angle inputs etc. Even the scaffolding aspect of the job was expertly taken care of. Everything was done on schedule (ahead of schedule actually, we were offered an earlier cancellation slot). We were completely satisfied. The price was also extremely competitive. Follow up advice and information has also been readily provided when asked for. A rare (these days) example of all round excellence, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
