Had a smooth drop off for a parcel today when I was in a rush for a train. The lady helped me at self-service and was very polite and friendly. Would use again.

While some staff who work here are lovely and I really appreciate their help (and this isn't criticising those members of staff) I'm concerned that there's is clearly some who don't seem to know how to use basic services for customers. Today I tried to post my parcel that I already paid the label for, I just wanted to drop it off and get the receipt (a services I've used many times before), the lady serving me told me she couldn't do this and I'd have to go to a royal mail office...which I thought was strange as I did the exact same thing at this very  same Post office this week already? I checked my email which I got when I bought the label from Royal Mail and even that said I could take it to a Post Office, it was an international tracked parcel. This was frustrating as I had come in early before work to post this and told the customer I was posting the parcel to that I was about to drop it off. I went back later this afternoon to a different lady serving me and she put the same parcel through easy and printed the receipt for me, there was no issue as it was a regular service. So why could I not use the same service before for the same parcel? It is frustrating not being able to use the basic services here as it wastes my time and makes the customers I'm posting to unhappy as it causes delays as I have to go to another post office when this happens. I have also been over charged a number of times here for items weighing the same, the same size and same destination which made no sense and my friend has said the same. Another issue is I've been in queues before here and there's no one at the till and just two staff chatting, and I've come early to post before work but they've took so long to get around to serving us I had to abandon the queue as otherwise I'd be late for work. Also another time a similar thing happened to me as to today in the past where the older lady serving me told me I couldn't post my parcel as this was 'a Post Office not Royal Mail' which I was baffled by as I had used the same service before and wasn't a type of service where you can't post at post offices. They've also forgotten to give me the proof of postage receipt too and I've had to run back to get them to print it for me. Please make sure the staff are trained and know how to serve customers as it's becoming unusable. I didn't want to have to write this but it's become really annoying.

We were in this branch on 21st of July and on 22nd of July to pick up brp. We were told that the document had not arrived yet. It was a lie. Staff just didn't want to look for It properly. We made request to gov.uk. And gov.uk sent a letter stating that brp has been waiting at this branch since June 26th. Unfortunately, this answer we received when came back to our city. The carelessness of the staff is simply amazing.

11.07 post Office was closed. It was monday. The sign said that it was small constraction. I think such thing must be done on sunday or at night. So many people were disappointed and lost time.

Staff was not helpful at all and said u can't put more than £300 into bank😐 Would not recommend to use this post office for depositing money like for Barclays. Waist of time. She was also grumpy towards other people as I noticed. Not a good experience at this particular post office.
