After walking through our soon-to-be unit with a contractor, some details were pointed out that put me in a panic. I called several surveyors looking for a descent price on a conditions survey ASAP, they all gave me 500+ estimates and 2 week timelines. When I got to James, he paused, asked me several questions, and slowly and clearly explained to me why I don't need to panic, rush, and spend a bunch of money on a report. We're first time buyers and have been desperate to have a person who knows what they're talking about advise us. James shared his incredible experience and knowledge with us openly and honestly and now we finally feel reassured with this investment. Thank you.

James Milanovic surveyed my flat in March 2021 prior to purchase. His report was cursory at best. His ratings were not substantiated and at times did not make sense and therefore I had to seek clarification. He also failed to mention important and obvious issues which became apparent post-completion, such as electrical wires hanging from the boiler wrapped in black tape. This was obvious upon opening the boiler cupboard, which his report suggested he did, yet he failed to mention it and he has repeatedly failed to respond to my queries about his omissions within a reasonable time. His report was a waste of money and I would not recommend Edward James Surveyors to anyone. I have hired surveyors before and they all did a much better job than James.
