Welcome to Elburton Methodist Community Church (EMCC) we want to share with you the great news of the Love, Hope and Peace of God. We believe that Jesus died for our mistakes so that we can know him better and gain eternal life. We believe he calls us to be obedient disciples following his commands. This includes his command to love all those around us. This is something we are seeking to do even more today.

Light

As massive thank you to everyone who came along to our Light party on October 30th. We had a lot of fun, and it was great to see so many faces. We got to celebrate the light Jesus brought into the world. We celebrated the way in which he changed things for ever. Now we are able to see everything in the light of the love he shows and live in peace with him. 

Harvest 2021

What a crazy and fanatstic time we had with our uniformed organisations and friends of all kinds as we celebrated harvest. A time to thank God for all the many blessings we have. We loved sharing the story of how the apple makes it's way to us via our boat HMS Sinky and our other interesting forms of transport.

Welcome Darren

It's the new Methodist year and we are pleased to welcome our new Minister the Rev Darren Middleton. You can watch his introductory video below ....

Worship

We are so excited that we have re-started in-person worship. We are called to worship God, God who created us, who loves us and calls us to love him. Our doors are open again and you don't even need to book to attend. Just pop along at 10:30 each Sunday morning. Please note there will be no evening worship during August.

Introducing Darren our new Minister

September will be an incredibly exciting month for the team at EMCC. Not only are we returning to some of our youth activities such as Messy Church, Impact and JaM but we are also welcoming our new minister. The Rev Darren Middleton will be joining our team from September 1st. He will be joining his energy, enthusiasm and love with ours. He will be helping us share with the entire community the love which is at the core of and is the essence of God. We welcome Darren and his family to EMCC and look with hope and boldness to the future.

Messy Church

Thank you to everyone that made Messy Church such a success this month, we are so pleased to have been able to get started and we hope you all felt safe at EMCC. We are looking forward to Messy October on Saturday October 2nd 2021 at 1030am. No need to book and you can find out more by contacting the EMCC team via our usual contact details bellow :-) Be blessed Messy!

Youth

Yes that's right we are re-starting our JAM and Impact sessions from September 12th 2021. Join us from 1030 for Messy style crafts, activities games and fun.

EMCC Online

During the closure of the church building we switched to on-line services. We ....

We have paused these services for the time being owing to our return to worship in the building. We are reviewing our use of on-line worship so keep an eye here for details of what we will be doing in the future on-line.
