Shame there isn’t a zero star, absolutely disgraceful. told me there was no card payment under £10 at the last minute (i had no cash). shouting at me from the front seat saying i’ll never get in his taxi again. charged me more than it said on the meter. didn’t let me pay the right amount and locked the doors until i payed extra for no reason. never order a taxi from this muppet

Absolute Life saver, I rang and explained I had got stuck in Haverthwaite and needed to get back to Holker with 3 kids , I was aware of Cartmel races and it being 4:30 and lots of contract work. I was given a clear window when he could help and above all great customer service start to finish.. It gets a cattle market this time of year for Local taxi firms and I'm very grateful to be helped and back at the holiday home. Thanks John.

Excellent service and careful driving. We needed to travel to Newcastle and back in one day. John Keith picked us up promptly and got us to our destination on time. It was a pleasant journey and we would certainly use this service again.

I have had a personal bad experience with John before however I let that one slide even after being sworn at. This time I refuse. My mother who is elderly and very poorly who had to get to the post office hurt her leg on the way and couldn't walk home due to it being up 2 rather big steep hills, rang John and explained, however she was told that he couldn't do that as he would have to come all the way there to get her (Flookburgh to Allithwaite- not exactly a big distance) and go all way back home. Couldn't care less that she was stuck and in pain, very rude and quite simply wasn't offered enough money. Just nasty. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND USE SOMEONE ELSE!

We tried calling 4 other taxi ranks before this one (due to a review saying the driver was ‘rude’) we then found out that estate cars only has one driver and he was very very helpful and polite and also more reliable then anywhere else. Would happily recommend to anyone.
