Everest Spice

The food was very tasty, hot on arrival and delivered within 40 minutes on placing order. It was my first time ordering with Everest Spice but will definitely order again. EVERYTHING is cooked and prepared to the highest standard. Everything tastes slightly different and is prepared slightly different. The best ingredients are used. This is a legitimate Indian restaurant. It's around 15% more expensive than a cheap Indian takeaway, but I assure you it's WORTH IT. So just like me, once you order from here, you will NEVER use another Indian takeaway ever again. Even their onion bhajiis are of the highest quality, they're circles rather than balls, and they're nice and dry and not soaked in oil like the other Indian restaurants do. My last order (but first) was a keema naan and mint sauce. That's when I fell in love with this restaurant. Their Curry's are perfect, not a tray of water like the rest of the restaurants. Delivery was exactly on time too, a margin of half a minute. Thanks folks xx We have had several meals from Everest and have been very happy each time. We had the Karachi curry and the vegetable curry, all was perfect ???? Best indian takeaway I've ever had. Korma was amazing!!! And friendly delivery driver. Will definitely be ordering from here from now on! lovely food - great portion size, korma was flavourful but not overly rich was high was good, chips were the best chips I've had from an Indian takeaway, naan was also very nice. So I ordered the food at about 8\t and after I placed my order was told the food wood be ready at 8.51\t which seemed oddly precise At 8.23 I got a text to say my food was ready. I drove to the restaurant\t arriving at about 8.35. I told the waiter who I was and he disappeared into the back of the restaurant. About 10 or 12 minutes later he emerged with my food. So I got the food within a few minutes of the time originally stated. Why bother to send a text to say my food was ready when it clearly wasn’t?

I’ve eaten in quite a few times, also had plenty of takeaways! Everest is by far the best curry place in plymouth. My ultimate favourite. Everyone is friendly, everything is cooked perfectly. Maybe just a little expensive though in comparison to other curry restaurants.

Another review, last reviewed back in May 2017 and I rated it 5 Stars then and I won't be changing it now, this time i went for the Chicken Shashlik with Mushroom Rice and Garlic Nann, service was quick, staff friendly. Don't let the dated 1970s decor put you off, it might not look the part from outside nor inside but trust me you'll enjoy the food.. Highly recommended if in Plymouth..

One of the best restaurants in Plymouth! I always have a lovely time with their polite and friendly staff. Every dishes taste superb and so authentic. Cosy atmosphere, clean and tidy interior, and well presented meal, I will keep coming back for special occasions!

Pros: A hidden Nepalese restaurant that classify as "Indian" restaurant in mass market. Fresh quality food, attentive service. Non-greasy curry as it should be in Nepal. The Kathmandu Chicken gravy was finger-licking good (despite the fact that a single cube of chicken tikka was bit rare from inside and staff had apologised when drew attention) Cons: Portion size felt too small so ends up being pricey! The Google review mentioned toilets so spoke to manager who confirmed that being a leased site despite their wishes they can't do anything about it so ignore that part and "carry on currying"!! Would I return back? Of course yes.
