Just came back from phlebotomy at Finchley memorial hospital and the lady there (Marlena) was amazing. Very welcoming, polite and respectful and willing to answer any questions as I had blood test done just two days ago elsewhere and my GP still didn't get the results. (That would be another review but with much less stars!! 😂) The way she did the blood test was easy and not painful at all.

On my visit everything was great. I had MRI done, no wait and staff were friendly. There is free parking at hospital but you have to enter your number plate inside at kiosk, car park is really spacious. As far as I know there is no A&E only walk-in centre where you can be treated for minor injuries.

If you have a sore throat they will turn you away at the walk-in as they have their own policy, which is not mentioned anywhere on their website, of only 5 people with a sore throat. Kind of ridiculous for a healthcare provider, seems like they have forgotten about their duties towards upholding health and safety. Don’t bother going here if you have a sore throat just call 111 instead as that is what they will suggest anyways. Or tell you to call your GP, which is silly as it is a Saturday and no GPs are available, as to why I went to the walk-in in the first place. Definitely bellow par service, and has been like this since I can remember. I’d suggest going to a&e somewhere else as they simply do not want to do their jobs here.

There is no communication with the reception and nurse. I was waiting for one hours to be attended after one hour I receded to asking in I am in the wrong place. One of the nurse told me that my appointment has been called after a long journey to get to the hospital. It's not acceptable this kind of service.

Good facilities but lots and lots of rules. If you park you need to register your car at reception otherwise if you forget you’ll get a fine. Also, cannot walk in for a blood test with a gp form, you have to sign up online or call. However online they don’t have all bookings available and calling them is always a hassle as they are only open in the morning and sometimes it can lead to long queue on the phone.
