Unfortunately a simple laptop repair (new charging port) failed after a week, advised them of this & that the fault was intermittent just as before but that I was unable to return within their time scale as my daughter needs it for university away from home. Failed or chose not to comprehend this simple fact that she can't be without it in term time and would not offer any flexibility or forbearance regarding having the recurring fault remedied at a later date. Tersely replied that " if she can use it then there is no faults on the repair we carried out", shocking attitude, £65 wasted, what a right piece of work this business is.

Would definitely not recommend this outfit. Left a Samsung phone with them for a new screen and they said they would ring me. They didn't, so I chased them up. They said there was a batch of faulty screens so they had to order a new one, and that they would ring me. They didn't. When I went into the shop, they said the supplier had sent the wrong screen. So, after four days, it was still not sorted. As the phone belonged to someone in hospital who needed it to keep in touch, I said I wanted it back. Took it to another Formby business who provided excellent service and sorted it within 24 hrs and rang me to say it was ready. When repairing the screen, they also found the internal aerial had been incorrectly routed, so I needed a new one. Very poor customer service. from Formby Tech Solution.
