I visited this cafe yesterday afternoon. The female working the till completely ignored me for two minutes, preferring to continue to tidy up the little bakery price stands. Such a bad attitude, why work in customer service when you so clearly hate providing it?

Excellent food and drink but somewhere else that is still refusing to accept cash. Now life has returned to normal there is no reason to refuse the country's currency.

Whilst the coffee is nice, £7.90 for two oat cortado’s is daylight robbery! A splash of oat milk in a drink so small is an additional 40p. I’d understand the logic in a longer drink, but this defies common sense. Meanwhile a cappuccino is the same price… I know London is expensive, but this is a different level altogether. Safe to say I won’t be returning!

I always love Gail’s but I arrived at 3pm, an hour and a half before closing time, hoping for a late lunch, but the kitchen was closed and nothing savoury was available other than cheese straws. So much for a late lunch! Disappointing especially as I had arrived early for an appointment specifically to get my lunch from there. I appreciate 3pm is a little after lunch, but given it was open for another hour and a half, I was surprised that the kitchen was closed and all savoury items gone.
