Gauthier is an amazing piano teacher. My kids absolutely love going to their piano lessons. Gauthier caters his lessons to the needs of his students and gives them great flexibility in choosing the pieces to work on. He discusses what works best for each individual and accommodates them. Gauthier is an accomplished pianist who is able to share his craft in a skilled and understandable manner. I have been having lessons with him now for a while and have noticed considerable improvement in my playing. He has a clear and effective way of teaching and makes lessons, practice, and performance enjoyable. I learned to play piano as a child and have returned to it later in life and Gauthier has helped me to rekindle my love of the instrument. He clearly cares a lot about getting the best from his students. I would thoroughly recommend him.

My 7-year-old son (beginner) and teenage daughter (intermediate) take lessons with Gauthier. Considering the disparity in their skills, I am impressed by how is able to bring the best performance out of both of them. He is patient and kind - the best ingredients for learning. They are both doing great and my kids love him.
