I wandered into this shop and was amazed by their beautiful range of funky and cool items, so much so that for the 3 days I was in York I found myself in their shop every single day! When I wanted a Harry Potter charm that they didn't have in stock the owner went out of her way to organise it and make sure it got to me even though I was leaving. Fantastic and friendly service and their prices are much better than others in the area. I strongly recommend you visit if your in York.

Very friendly shop that sell a lot of little niknak type gifts, with a lot of cards and tags, key-rings and bunting etc - great if you want to be a little crafty with your gifting. There are also a few little portable games. Clean shop with wooden beamed ceilings.

While waiting for my family, I stood outside this shop, I intended going in to buy quite a few things I had seen in the window. However, the man working in the shop came out to ask me not to lean on the window as I would break the glass, this he did in gruff manner. I was not leaning on the glass but had a backpack on which may have given the impression I was. When my husband appeared we started to walk off & I started ro tell him about the shopkeepers rude manner. At this point he opened the door & started shouting at me that he hadn't been rude & I would've broken the glass & walked away. This he did in an angry manner. I & my family were very shocked at his behaviour, we are not used to aggression like this. I work in a very similar shop & would never speak to anyone like that. He lost a big sale & he has attained some very bad publicity for his efforts!
