I would like to say that I am on my 3rd shift at Greenlight establishments. I have worked in numerous establishments in my 40 years as a Health and Social Care professional. I am so taken with the Geeenlight’s staff support of their customers. The real care that the staff have for those they support is unbelievable. They support everyone as they would if they were their own family members. It is heartwarming to see. Really uplifting.

I worked for Green Light for 10 years. I made lifelong friends and had the honour of supporting the most incredible people. If you want to work with autism I can safely say you would be hard pushed to find a more forward thinking company. I will always look back at my years at Green Light with a big smile 😊

Fantastic company to work for! I have spent the last 2 and half years working for Green Light in a number of homes and a number of positions. I have enjoyed every minute of it and have learnt so much along the way. Coming from a background in teaching I had no idea what to expect and Green Light have been fully supportive throughout. It started with their amazing 2 week induction and was promptly followed by excellent support and mentoring in the homes, this then led to opportunities of progression and promotion, firstly to Key Worker and currently to my role as Deputy Manager. As a Deputy Manager my time is split between supporting individuals and general admin tasks for the house. Whilst supporting it really is a pleasure to spend time working alongside the people we support and watching them develop and grow, with the ultimate aim of empowering them to live the lives they want to lead. However once my support role has finished I switch over to my managers head where I am more focused on the day to day running of the house, support rota's, bank statements, training needs etc. Each day is very different. No matter where I have worked, or what role I have worked in however, I have always felt supported by my colleagues and the management team. Colleagues come from many different backgrounds and have a wide range of worldly experiences, it is these differences and experiences that bring out the best in people...Teams become friends and friends become work families. Yes, the work is hard at times but completely rewarding and I couldn’t ask for a better company to work for work. I for one am proud of what we achieve for the people we support.
