Needed a wiper blade, didn't really plan specifically to go to Halfords for it, but I happened to be around, so decided to give it a try. Member of staff very quickly found the right one for me. Price was good, lower than I had expected. Would recommend.

Ant (bike guy) and team were super helpful when we pitched up at store in the middle of a 20km+ ride in the cold with a flat rear cycle tyre. The boys were extremely helpful and cheerful in assisting us and we still bought a snazzy new bike pump as well! Well done team. You're doing a great job!

Ordered wiper blades online with fitting included, received an email confirming time for collection, paid at the till and the same member of staff came out of the shop and fitted them immediately (and quickly). He was friendly and chatty throughout. I was both delighted and surprised by the excellent service having had disappointing experiences in the past.

The staff at chelmsford Halfords are always friendly and attentive and go above and beyond to help their customers. I have bought three bikes here over the past 5 years and had the a few bike services and always been very happy with the quality of the bikes service received. I received exceptional service from Emily and David on my most recent visit when I needed help with a faulty inner tube and was blown away by how quickly and fuss free my issue wise dealt with. It’s a popular place and you may have to wait at peak times but it’s worth it- all the staff I have encountered are first class. Try to visit later in the day or early morning and avoid weekends and you will be served super quick .

I've been using this store for nearly 8 years, and I've come to enjoy the level of service and helpfulness of the staff here. The range is excellent, and although I regularly buy Professional tools the Halfords spare parts are usually my first choice as they too are of a good standard at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Halfords to anyone needing tools, bulbs, wiper or even common major parts, screenwash and anything else you might need to help you fix your car. Also, don't forget their fitting service which is really helpful if you're not sure how to do it for yourself.
