We understand that moving into a care home is a big step, which is why we have introduced ‘supported admissions’ for our new residents. This is where a friend or family member can stay at our home during moving in day to help their loved one settle. They can even enjoy their first meal together.
You will understandably have lots of questions and concerns throughout these unprecedented times. Speaking to a member of our friendly team may help to give you peace of mind – we are here to help and support you every step of the way.
Our Home
Herald Lodge has all the finishing touches you would expect from a warm and welcoming home, with cosy fire places, attractive décor and freely accessible, secure, gardens. All 42 bedrooms are en-suite, enabling us to deliver person-centred care in a dignified manner, promoting independence as far as possible.
Herald Lodge is proud to have retained its ‘Good’ rating in all areas of its most recent Care Quality Commission inspection (April 2020)
