I had only meant to stop here for a night but due to circumstances, unexpectedly turned into my home for a month. Faye and Chris are such lovely people and made my stay easy going and comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts, the whole family are truly kind. They seem genuinely interested in their guests and happy to engage in conversation. You feel like part of the family. The single rooms are a bit small but manageable with a sink, mirror, kettle, storage space. There is a well-kept fully equipped kitchen and multiple bathrooms. The plug socket next to my bed didn’t work, however there was a working socket where I was able to plug a short extension cord in so that wasn’t much of an issue. Now I’ve left I’ve went straight to my new home but I’ll never forget the times I had at this humble, friendly hotel. I wish the best to the whole family, during a difficult time of my life they became a constant which brought comfort during my stay. Unfortunately I was unable to say goodbye on checkout but I hope to pop in one day soon to thank you personally :)

My stay at HIGHFIELD hotel was lovely, Faye and Chris are the most lovely and friendly people, there are so welcoming, helpful and always there for you. The hotel is so clean, there have all the facilities in this hotel, there make you feel your at home. The family room we stayed in was in excellent condition with the extra, homely touches (towels, kettle and coffee), all extremely clean with perfect condition beds and bedding. My child enjoyed staying here as there made him feel like he was apart of their family, I couldn’t recommend this enough it’s so far the best hotel I’ve been too. Thanks Faye and Chris for everything

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and always make sure the customers are happy with the service. If there are any issues, the hotel manager try their best to rectify the problem as soon as possible. The sheets are cleaned regularly and the kitchen has cooking and washing facilities. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly too. All in all, we are happy with the service here.

Honestly it's good especially the staff they are the sweetest , very caring and kind and very helpful so 10 out of ten would recommend, the rooms are nice and clean its perfect .

This hotel is run by the most generous, friendly, kind and helpful family. Chris & Faye along with their two children are quite possibly the best family we have come across. The family room we stayed in was in excellent condition with the extra, homely touches (towels, kettle and coffee), all extremely clean with perfect condition beds and bedding. Honestly a home away from home and beyond value for money. We have never received such faultless service! Thank you so much to Chris & Faye.
