Phil Vaudin5 StarCan't beat Jersey milk and the best way to buy is straight from the farm. You can also buy yummy ice cream, make your own milkshakes and there is a selection of local produce to buy. Farmers need our support and this is a farm that we cannot afford to lose...
The girls responsible for the milk are also super friendly and will always come to say hello when you arrive 😁Sunday 16th July 2023
Monica Mtz4 StarGorgeous farm in the middle of nowhere. Quite away from the road but very good signage. It felt like an adventure getting there! Great views and the raw milk/milkshake was deliciousTuesday 22nd August 2023
Simon Harmer5 StarAn excellent little farm shop! It's out of my way; however, we all must support our local farmers.
You can find the farm by following the directions off Otterbourne Road, just past the South Winchester Park and Ride. Follow the track for around 500 metres, and you'll see the farm shop tucked away on the right-hand side.
Hiltonbury Farm shops not only sell milk, but they also have local jams, marmalade, eggs and some other produce. I try and recycle some of my one-use plastic milk bottles and take them with me to fill up with freshly squeezed milk if my memory serves me correctly; I think there are bottles you can fill up in the shop.
After watching Jeremy Clarkson's The Farm, I've acquired a deeper understanding of some of the challenges UK farmers face each year. As customers, we must support our farmers directly and cut out the supermarkets that don't or won't pay them what they deserve. I don't mind paying extra for my goods as long as I know it's going straight to the people who produced them.
I'll continue to support our local farmers as best I can; it's not something everyone can do, but I don't mind doing my bit to help my community.Tuesday 7th March 2023
