Just had a rear lamp delivered without any issues BUT. The item is a rear lamp for a 1934 vehicle and it’s great that they are having parts reproduced but I was very disappointed with the quality of the item. I have been an auto electrician for over fifty year’s and had my own business for over forty years so I have seen a lot of repro items over the year’s and for just south of £100 with the vat and post I was not happy. Please take a pork pie lamp from your stock, check it and tell me that I am wrong. Just look at the terminals the revits and the positioning of the contacts. It should have been a quick swop over but I now think that I should have made a No plate lens and put the £100 towards the labour for doing so.

I ordered Stoneguards for 5 3/4 in Headlamps on November 30th. The invoice stated that the item was shipped via First Class post on November 30th and will be delivered on November 30th. As per the website under international deliveries: "Delivery can take up to 8-14 working days from when your order is placed." I e-mailed customer support on December 14th to inquire about the status of my delivery and the Senior Support Specialist seemed surprised when I told her that their own website said 8-14 days. She informed me that the item has been sent and might take 6 weeks to reach me. No where on their website it says that deliveries take 6 weeks. I was also informed that there is no tracking number and that they had no clue where the item is currently. What kind of First Class post cannot be tracked and takes 6 weeks? This is no good for me as I need to take the item with me abroad before Christmas so basically I will be binning the item when it gets here (if it gets here). I feel robbed. Never ever again.

Avoid this company . They sent me the wrong parts ( costing nearly £400 ) then when I pointed this out they simply said I was wrong. Well a broken down E type on the side of the road ( TWICE !! ) and the fitting of the correct ignition parts supplied on the advice of a proper spares specialist ( which fully resolved the issue ) tells me and any reasonable person I am correct. I gave them every opportunity to resolve but Charlotte refused to supply a refund. I have better things to do with my life than argue with this company so have left this review for a company that does not value its customers. Shame really
