The team at HPS could not have been better !. Fantastic experience throughout - from initial consultation, design, supply and fit & finish. The team remodelled three bathrooms and a Cloakroom/WC for us and we couldn't be happier with the job. Joe, Alistair and Andrew (and the rest of the team) - a big thank-you from Eileen & Steve.

Please see my reply to owner below at end of this first review: Just visited this business - completely taken aback by the rudeness and attitude of the staff member who almost slammed the door in our faces!! We had only rung the bell to make an appointment as the poster displayed on the door asked us to do. Needless to say we will be going elsewhere for my bathroom upgrade. Thank you for getting back.I think it’s quite reasonable that a shop staff member should approach a potential customer politely? Like it or not, we found you very rude. As you say, we didn’t want a survey but regretfully didn’t get an opportunity to tell you what we did want whilst you were closing the door on our face! At no point did we ask to see the showroom. We were obviously aghast at our treatment which your customers must have noticed, but it’s completely inaccurate to say that we shouted. Anyway, I’ve made my point that we felt you treated us a nuisance and will be saying no more.

HPS bathrooms did 2 bathrooms for us - downstairs wet room and upstairs traditional bathroom. This is the review for the wet room done in Dec 2020 - needless to say we were so happy with overall service and the end result that we asked Joe to do upstairs bathroom for us too - reviewed separately. Wet room All the HPS “crew” were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Karen, who held the fort at the office offered amazing advice and took time to fully understand what we were after. She remained the main point of contact throughout the project and I felt fully supported and safe in her capable hands - apart from being professional Karen is always friendly and welcoming which adds a lovely personal touch to working with her. Joe, Andrew, Stuart and Marin did a great job on the wet room. As with any such project, there is always the unexpected when you finally get to see what’s behind the walls and below the floor once you have gutted your old bathroom out. Joe and Andrew were prepared for it all - kept me informed throughout and above all - and this is really important to me - involved me in every decision that had to be made when the unexpected hit. Martin, the tiler, did an amazing job and endured me “helping out” - I chose very beautiful but awkward tiles and I had laid out the pattern of each wall for him the night before. This created an amazing real stone look but made it slow work for Martin, especially with me constantly in the way. The end result is stunning. Gutting rooms and cutting ceramic tiles is always a messy job and everybody did their best to tidy up at the end of each day, even if it turned out a very long day for them. The whole crew: Joe, Andrew, Paul (the electrician) and Martin, were a pleasure to have in the house - a really good team who communicate and work together well. A little gift - set of soap and body lotion - left in the bathroom was such a lovely and special touch - a proper moving in present. Thank You to All at HPS (including Angela who was there for me when I wanted to harass Karen with my endless questions even on her days off!)

Upstairs bathroom. This is my second review, this time of the upstairs bathroom HPS did for us in May 2021. Whereas downstairs wet room was pretty much an upgrade to an existing shower room, upstairs bathroom was a much bigger project - we wanted to move an existing bathroom from the middle of the house (where all the water and soil pipes were already in situ) to a spare bedroom at the front of the house with no plumbing... So the element of “the unknown” was huge and although we wanted to do this for years, it was only after seeing Joe’s team’s skills doing the wet room and Joe’s confidence that we decided to go ahead. With a project with so many “unknowns” (you never know where the joists are going to be under the floor and the soil pipe search was a true archaeological excavation in the front garden !) you need to have plan A, B and C and Joe was fantastic suggesting the best solution or even coming up with plan D when something truly unexpected turned up. We now have an amazing new bathroom with a huge cast iron bath (don’t know how Joe and Andrew managed to get it upstairs just on their own!) It is a truly relaxing room - just what you need during the pandemic. A huge Thank You to the whole team - Karen, Angela, Joe, Andrew and Stuart as well as Kenny who did an amazing job installing our new laminate floor and Paul with artwork plastering skills. It was a pleasure to get to know you All - HPS will remain my first port of call for any other jobs that still need doing in our house!

New bathroom fitted and in the timescale we were given. We are delighted with the workmanship and can recommend HPS. Joe, Andrew and Angela thank you for all your help from beginning to end.
