Iansyst is a substandard and incompetent supplier for Student Finance England's Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). Despite making them aware of my autism and communication needs, they have never consistently shown any genuine consideration of my circumstances. One example being Iansyst's staff frequent breaches of my communication adjustment to have phone calls arranged in advance by email. Iansyst's staff also do not know how to communicate clearly by email (or cannot be bothered). Iansyst's staff often send incomplete or difficult-to-understand information/questions. Other issues: - they failed to ship my DSA-recommended noise-cancelling headphones within a reasonable time - they did not suggest alternative in-stock noise-cancelling headphones until after I asked about it, showing a lack of proactivity on their part - they attempted to blame me for almost missing the unexpected delivery attempt of the noise-cancelling headphones despite my making them aware of my preferred alternative delivery date - they provided incompetent and lazy troubleshooting for a paper jam issue in my MFD printer - they did not ship a replacement printer until a month after I raised a formal complaint - they may stop responding to emails if you ask for clarity/raise concerns and issues - they misspelt my name on their records/emails - they failed to update their record of my home address until about half a year later - they insist on phone calls when communicating about hardware issues, showing disregard for people like me who prefer to communicate by email so that there is a record of communication If Iansyst is selected as your DSA supplier, I urge you to request an alternative one, citing critical reviews such as mine and by others.

Friendly customer service staff (in particular thanks to Matt). Had a problem with the original laptop so returned and was able to get a replacement which I'm really happy with. Helpful tech support too. Finding the laptop and software really useful for my university course so really happy with what I received and not sure how I coped without a laptop with the dyslexia software. If you have a disability I strongly recommend you apply for DSA, it really helps.

After upgrading my DSA student quote from the cheapest to Iansyst because of the laptop quoted for and offered, the chap arrives today to set up equipment and familiarise me with it. He’s given 1.5 hrs for this. He turns up 20 mins early with wrong laptop. He calls Iansyst then passes phone to me. I explain it’s not the Lenovo ordered. ‘It meets the specifications’ says the lady snottily. Whilst on phone I’m trying to find DSA paperwork, download one of the 10 emails I’ve had from them in the past few days and speak to her. I’m a bit stressed cos I’m doing multiple things and being fobbed off with a rubbish HP laptop. She starts telling me I’m rude. The delivery chap is next to me. He agrees I’m not being rude. Eventually snotty woman tells me they found a Lenovo on the shelf and it’ll be sent next week. Other hardware left in a box in my dining room, with the bloke not even opening the packages. So no set up or familiarisation that he’s paid for, no checking anything works. And he’s gone by 12, which is when he should’ve arrived. Early finish for him then. No idea if other equipment works as can’t test it without a laptop. And the Lenovo ‘found on a shelf’ being sent next week, but I’m expected to ask the DPD driver to just stand there while I open it and set it up before signing for it, according to snotty Iansyst email (which I had to ask to be re-sent as they forgot to send the crucial attachments with delivery and order details on). As if! I even tried to call them today - took 4 goes before anyone answered. Hopefully I’ll get a working laptop next week but I’ve got to set it all up and check equipment myself, and Iansyst is getting paid over £1000 by the Government for this order and they’ve done naff all except be rude. This is where our taxes go. Really disappointed and upset. And having worked in customer service I know this is not how you behave! No need! Definitely wouldn’t use for anything bought privately. They drastically need to improve.

I'm a student who is receiving DSA support via Iansyst. I'm really surprised by the negative reviews on here as I've got nothing bad to say at all. So, starting from the beginning, once all my DSA things were sorted, I was contacted by Iansyst. A very helpful guy came to bring my equipment and check I had everything I need. He was really friendly, even gave me some suggestions on where I could watch some boxing online! I just wish I could remember his name, as he was lovely. Also, all the equipment I have been given is of really good quality, and good spec too. Following that, I've had several training sessions with Anthony for software support from DSA. He's always been punctual, professional and friendly. I've been really impressed with his manner and how easily he explained the software. I always felt like I could ask him questions, even if I thought they were a little silly. The first session he came to my house, and the last two were virtual due to Covid-19. I must admit, I don't think it would have made a difference whether they were virtual or in person, he's clearly good enough at his job to do both seamlessly. He also advised me on what to do if there were any problems with hardware or software as it is covered by Iansyst. Just a massive thank you to him and the rest of the Iansyst team!

After a three week nightmare trying to arrange an upgrade for a laptop that ended very unsatisfying with the original laptop returned to me (now short three weeks worth of lecture notes) I would recommend avoiding. Their returns and upgrade policy was not made clear at any point during the process leading to a massive waste of time on my part and a considerable amount of stress.
