We had our engagement party here. It was absolutely beautiful. Fantastic service, cheap drinks, great dj who even made us a CD of the songs we requested. Great staff, clean and it was warm inside! John was brilliant... Allowing us to leave everything till the next day and even had staff clear all of our room for us. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful carvery. Sometimes can be quite busy, so try to book if you want to try it! Less than £20 for two of us for two carvery meals and drinks, and the portions are so big they’re always happy to give you a box to take away! Can’t fault it

Recently i was at an party held in the function room ...The beer was ok and very reasonable priced .the staff were freindly and professional.. room itself was large and decor was nice.However the building is old and the night was spoilt by the fact it was absolutely freezing . My brother , who had been before was in a thick woolie jumper . He said its always freezing in this place. If i'm invited to another party there I will were a ski suit . Or just not go . We asked about the heating and were told 'its on full'. Very disappointed. Keith .
