We got in touch with Jon regarding some changes we wanted to make to our house. In the end — due to the nature of the project — we didn't actually need to employ Jon's architectural skills but, despite this, he really took the time to look at our problem and give us considered, practical solutions and advice on what to do next. I would recommend Jon without hesitation and hope to work with him in the future!

Jon was very easy to work with. He listened carefully to what we wanted and always kept our budget in mind. The design that he came up with was completely different to any of the options that we had considered, which was great! He was very clear about his timeframes for communication, which was helpful.

We initially got in touch with jon at the very early stages of considering a substantial extension to our property with not much idea as to how or what we really wanted. Jon was fantastic and used his creativity and experience to emalgamate all of our ideas. He created three options with cost and space in mind and met with us frequently over zoom to share and discuss thoughts. His attention to detail and passion for creating the best outcome is really impressive. Once plans were agreed the submission for planning permission was the next stage and once again Jon took complete ownership and liaised with the council to ensure permission was granted. This was such a reassuring help as this was an unfamiliar process to us. We would not hesitate to recommend Jon and have to several of our friends and family. The quality and time he invests in his work, ensuring the outcome fits every requested criteria coupled with the supportive way in which he works really stands Jon out in his field. Thanks again Jon.

Jon Clayton offered friendly, clear unbiased advice for my proposed extension which was a complicated scenario. Jon was upfront about the complications and his fees for a potential outcome. In the end it was down to myself whether to gamble on utilysing his skills and professional background to submit plans to Lancaster City Council which do not offer advice on difficult proposals. John offered me a free 15 minute video session to talk through the issues.
